D.E.M.P. Diving Emergency Management Provider
OADC/PADI Certification Courses
The Diving Emergency Management Provider program allows DAN Instructors to offer an integrated
program to train divers to learn the information and skills
in DAN Training Programs, at a significant savings of time,
but without sacrificing any skills.
Program Objective:
Train
divers to respond to dive emergencies in a single comprehensive
package. It is an all-inclusive method of presenting and promoting
DAN Training Programs.
How long will it take?
8 hours (6 hours without Advanced Oxygen Provider)
What do I need to start?
Current, active status DAN Instructor or Instructor Trainer.
Certified to teach:
- Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries
- First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries
- Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for Scuba Diving
- DAN Advanced Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries
( Preferred additional credential)
Note to Instructor Trainers: There is no additional training
or certification required for the Diving Emergency Management
Provider Program. Any Instructor certified to offer these DAN
Training Programs can offer this program. After certifying Instructor
Candidates to conduct each of these training programs independently,
orient them to the Diving Emergency Management Provider Program.
