Open Water Diver Course

Get your complete certification in three easy steps...

       The KNOWLEDGE REVIEW is the first step. You receive the PADI Open Water Manual, Logbook w/Binder, Dive Tables, Student Record File, Charts and Video or DVD so you can study the materials at home. Your Instructors will review your completed homework and cover the material in depth with you before taking quizzes and final. We'll show you how to apply your newly acquired knowledge to future diving adventures.

   

  The POOL SESSIONS will be completed in two Saturday Sessions.
  (Sessions depend on class size and/or student performance) We will teach you easy useful  skills. You  will practice and learn to master the skills you need to perform prior to                 certification; like clearing your mask of any water, out of air drills and swimming weightless.        (Saturday afternoons)

  

 

       The OCEAN DIVES (4 required) will complete your training. You'll explore the underwater world, interact with seals,  play w/ friendly sea lions, observe beautiful fish and swim through our tranquil kelp forests. All aboard one of our large comfortable ships that include bunks and/or staterooms, hot showers and/or jacuzzi

and return by 5-6pm the same day.

The Three Star Package is one of our most popular.  This package includes: 1 boat ticket aboard one of our ships to the channel Islands, group tuition fee, diver manual, Open Water certification card, course DVD, log book, all academic, pool and ocean sessions with Instructors, 2-3 boat dives, 1-2 beach dives, all SCUBA gear rental and $25.00 gear voucher. $395.00 done in two weekends

 

The 4 Star This certification course is rated to be the best choice for your dollar.This package includes: 2 boat tickets aboard any one of our ships to the channel Islands, group tuition fee, diver manual, custom mask strap, course DVD or Video, Open Water certification card, log book, all academic, pool and ocean sessions with an Instructor, 6-8 boat dives, all SCUBA gear rental and $25.00 gear voucher.  $495.00 done in two weekends

 

The 5 Star Private lessons with one of our instructors. This private course can be completed in two quick days. $375.00 (tuition only)

The Scuba Diver Option. $345.00 done in one weekend.

The Referal Option. $225.00 done on two Saturday.

What is not included?

 

You will need to purchase your own mask, snorkel, boots and fins. Gloves and mesh gear bag highly recommended. Our staff of certified instructors can help you make your selection of snorkel equipment easy.

What are some other benefits that have and the others don 't...

 

Ocean Adventures includes a $25.00 off gear voucher with every beginner course. We also give all students 50% Off all equipment rentals after certification, 15% all Scuba packages within the first 90days of completion of certification. We also have group tropical vacation packages all year round.

What do you Bring to Class?

 

Please bring a bathing suit, towel, and a tee shirt for for sun protection (winter months: sweats or warm cloths for after pool sessions). A notebook and pen for taking notes during class.
