PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer Course
If you want to train your dive students to the highest purely recreational
dive level in the PADI System of diver education, you'll want
to be a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer. By attaining this level,
your dive students will know where to come when they want to
learn from an expert.
Specialty Instructors are PADI instructors who have met the requirements to offer courses in various special types of diving activities. These instructors have acquired the knowledge and skills necessary to offer this training by continuing their education and/or gaining experience in a particular specialty diving area. Master Scuba Diver Trainer is an award which is given to the instructors who have at least five PADI Specialty Instructor ratings and have issued at least 25 diver certifications. These instructors are qualified to conduct all training requirements for the Master Scuba Diver rating.
What can PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainers do?
Teach PADI Master Scuba Divers, offer the Specialty courses needed to become a Master Scuba Diver.
What do I need to start?
- Hold Open Water Scuba Instructor certification
- Have at least 25 certifications
How do I become a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer?
At Ocean Adventures IDC Dive Center you can continue your education right after completing IDC & IE. The Master Scuba Diver Trainer preparation courses begins the day after completing the IE and runs 4 - 5 days. During the course you will learn how to organize, conduct and sell specialty courses. A comprehensive list of courses is available and can be booked individually or as a MSDT package.
If you’d like to become a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, you must be a PADI Instructor who have at least five PADI Specialty Instructor ratings. This qualifies you to conduct all training requirements for the Master Scuba Diver rating. (Peak Performance Buoyancy and Project AWARE Specialty Instructor ratings do not apply.)
