Unified Team Diving

The roots of Unified Team Diving (UTD) philosophy and principles can be found in the Hogarthian/DIR equipment configuration and its covenants. UTD International builds upon this base by creating the next generation of "thinking diver" and/or instructor through its unique teaching methodologies, comprehensive educational system, and ultimately the "UTD Certification" process. UTD International ensures that UTD Certified Instructors teach classes, and students receive classes, that are based on a consistent and Unified Team Diving (UTD) approach, in other words consistent with the UTD ethos, standards and skill sets. At UTD, we always believe divers should be trained beyond their level of diving, as opposed to diving beyond their level of training.
