During your Academics, Pool Days: you will spend ½ of the two days learning dive fundamentals in the classroom and the other ½ in our private pool practicing basic self-confidence exercises. During your Ocean Days: you will put everything you learned in the pool and the class into practice; but most importantly, you will have fun while diving off one of our boats!

CLASS SPECIFICATIONS
1 BOAT OPTION
Southern California’s Channel Islands are constantly rated one of the top ten dive destinations by the major dive publications every year. Your adventure begins with an early morning departure form either Long Beach or Ventura Harbor. From there you will take a short ride to either Catalina or Anacapa Island, where you will experience Southern California diving at its best. All boat trips include air, snacks and drinks.
2 BEACH OPTION
Beach diving is the economical way to dive in Southern California. You will experience Redondo Beaches Veterans Park. This park was built specifically for SCUBA Diving. The stairs are a bit shorter than a standard stair making it easier for divers to go up and down with their gear. With its sandy bottom divers will find it similar to the pool when doing their skills. We do suggest that you be comfortable with surf entries and that you are also used to swimming in the ocean. Beach Option depends on Weather and Your Dive Skills – Your Instructor will make a final decision.
3 CALIFORNIA DIVER OPTION
The best of both worlds. It will prepare you for real California Diving. One day boat diving/ or Catalina Dive Park and one day beach diving.
4 CATALINA WEEKEND OPTION
Catalina Island, our closest and only populated island offers year round recreational diving. Its waters are highly protected and therefore offer a spectacular opportunity to experience Southern California diving at its best in a safe environment. We begin our journey, via the Catalina Express, to the city of Avalon on Catalina Island, 1 night stay on Catalina Island in a nice centrally located hotel. Ferry tickets provided to and from Catalina.
